Season 5 of the DSRL Monday Night Outlaw Series has seen great action through 6 weeks of competition. With a 12 week schedule on the books the halfway point of the season has been reached and David Heileman sets atop the points standings currently. His 3 wins for the season are tops amongst its talented driver pool. Wins at Eldora, Williams Grove and Knoxville have cemented him as the man to beat for the points title this season. Only 5 starts have netted him his 3 wins, 1 less start than his closest competitor David Flick who sets just 60 markers back to this point. Each driver will score their 10 best races over the season to determine the title winner. Ernie Williams, Britton Roxberry and Braden Eyler have all picked up wins in the series this season as well. The racing each week has been exciting and competitive throughout the fields. The next scheduled event for this series is Monday 1/7 at the high banked bullring of Limaland Speedway.
