DeWert and Westfall would lead the field to green for the 40-lap feature around Lernerville Speedway. Lots of battles early on in this feature. Boyd, Gaines, Ware and Moody going 4 wide a little further back in the pack as they all battled for 12th. Patrick Cobb would get the right side of his machine over the berm on the backstretch. Mason Leon would find themselves on the wrong side of the turn 4 banking. No caution and the two would regain at the tail end of the field.

Greg Keppel would get over the turn 4 banking and while trying to get things back under control Keppel’s car would become airborne then come to rest on the high side of turn 4. Mason Leon would have nowhere to go and make contact with Keppel. This would bring out the night’s first caution on lap-10.

On the restart it was DeWert out front, Eyler, Hines, Westfall and Schmutz your top 5. On lap 12 Eyler would slide DeWert for the lead, but the battle was behind these two. You could toss a blanket over the rest of the field. 3rd-8th place all running together. They were two wide down the straightaways and fanning out to 3-4 wide in the corners. Eyler would go over the berm in turn 4 while leading. He would have to stop on the exit and bring out the 2nd caution of the night.
